What is considered a Urologic emergency?

Anyone who cannot urinate or empty their bladder should immediately call the office or go to the emergency room
Kidney stones which cause intense pain that is not helped by oral pain medications should be seen in the emergency room for further pain management and hydration.
Hematuria which is gross can also cause difficulty with urination and requires either office or emergency room evaluation.
Urinary tract infections that manifest with high fever, chills should be managed immediately.

What are my financial responsibilities?
Every patient has different insurance coverage.  We will help with authorization of patient visits, procedures, and surgical procedures.  Patients will be responsible for the co-pay according to their insurance coverage along with deductibles and any remaining balances or out of network costs.
How else can I use to help pay for office visits, procedures, surgeries?
We will be offering Care Credit which is a credit card that enables patients to finance their treatment at no interest to variable interest rates with payment options from 6 to 24 months.
What days are surgery performed and where?
Dr. Tsai performs all his surgeries Thursday mornings from 7:30 to Noon at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Fort Myers Florida, (239) 343-1000 ,13681 Doctors Way, Fort Myers, Florida 33912
